It hasn't really sunk in yet, but the start of a new race season is now less than three weeks away. The ninth annual Battle On The Bayou race is scheduled for March 17 on Old Fort Bayou at Ocean Springs, Mississippi. In this photo racers are preparing for the start of the 2011 edition. I won the race easily that year, but since then the competition has been solid and wins have been hard to come by.
