My niece Ada and my nephew Joel enjoy some foggy canoeing on the White River near Calico Rock, Arkansas, in July 2008. This section of the White will host a big weekend of racing on June 23-24 this summer, with the Aluminum Canoe Nationals followed by the Arkansas "Big Dog" canoe and kayak races.
