Off we go on a picturesque spring Saturday morning. The Bluz Cruz Canoe and Kayak Race started at Madison Parish Port on the Louisiana side of the Mississippi River, and finished 22 miles downstream at the Vicksburg riverfront a mile or so up the Yazoo River.
